Fractional units, or quartershares, are financed the same way that a whole unit is, that is, with a conventional mortgage.  Typically, the interest rate may be ½ % higher than a normal mortgage, but that is a small premium for having the piece of mind knowing that your loan is held separately from all other unit owners.
